Coming to a Retreat

    Arrival and Departure

Registration for each retreat runs from 5 to 6pm.  A light supper is served at 6pm, followed by an introduction to the weekend at 7:00.  Participation in this introductory orientation is essential; be sure to arrive no later than 7pm. Departure is after 2pm on Sunday.  If you anticipate that you may need to leave the retreat early for any reason, please contact us prior to the beginning of the program.

    Accommodation and Meals

Dormitory-style accommodations are provided in the center for short-term guests. The center provides bed linens, pillows, and a blanket. Private or semi-private accommodations may be available - please ask.  Please note that camping on the center grounds or staying at local inns is not allowed.  Meals are primarily vegetarian, with plenty of whole grains and fresh vegetables; when meat or fish is served, a vegetarian alternative is always available.  Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs.

    What to Bring

Loose-fitting clothing for meditation, work clothing for indoor and outdoor work (outdoor shoes or boots are handy), toiletries, towel, flashlight, and sleeping bag or extra blanket if desired (the rooms are heated and we provide one blanket.)  Unfortunately at present we are unable to accommodate children during retreat programs.  Do not bring pets, musical instruments, computers, radios, alcohol or illegal drugs.  Please do not plan on using electronic devices during retreats.
